In order to maximize comfort and alleviate anxiety, Mynsberge, Ruggles & Yang Oral Surgery are extensively experienced, thoroughly knowledgeable, highly skilled, and accredited by the state of California to perform any procedure under IV sedation or general anesthesia very safely within our state of the art office setting.

It is helpful to know that oral and maxillofacial surgeons are one of the few medical specialists and the only dental specialists that are mandatorily trained with the core knowledge and skills to administer IV sedation and general anesthesia to provide you with the highest level of safety and comfort. During Dr. Mynsberge’s and Dr. Ruggles’ four year surgical training, six months were solely dedicated to adult and pediatric anesthesia, during which time they functioned as anesthesiologists providing full general anesthesia in a major hospital operating room setting to hundreds of patients undergoing various medical surgeries, such as orthopedic and general surgery. Currently, they perform office based IV anesthesia on a daily basis to thousands of patients a year with a level of complete safety, absolute comfort, and consistent with the highest standards of care.
